Weekend Warrior Series October 9
The Overall winner of the Weekend Warrior Series was Tom Walters.
David Elliott unofficially beat Pete Vanderwyst by 1.87 points to win the Late Model
portion of the Weekend Warrior Series.

Don Thomson Jr won the OSCAAR Super Late Model feature, followed by
Jeff Hanley, John Fletcher Jr, Rob Clarke, Al Shepstone, Drew Spicer,
TJ Woolsey and Al Thomson.
Glen Coulson won the Modified feature, followed by Gary Mclean and Paul
Tolton.
Darin Malcolm won the Limited Late Model feature, followed by
Tom Walters and Vic Parsons.
Dan Wright won the Thunder Car feature followed by Don Beatty.

Peterborough Speedway Saturday October 8
Justin Fraser won the Hurricane Midget Feature, followed by Brian Woodland,
Jack Swanston, Larry Westwood, Norm MacDonald, Jen Westwood, .. Dermo,
James Whittaker, Larry Whittal and Paul Trepanier.
Qualifying took place for tomorrow's features.
Some heat winners include
Mike Almand (twice), JR Fitzpatrick and Jason Hathaway in the Late Models.
Jeff Hanley, Michel Beyore, Don Thomson Jr (twice), Al Shepstone and John
Fletcher Jr won the 6 OSCAAR heats.
The 8 Limited Late Model heats were taken by
Tom Walters (twice), John Gaunt, Tim Watson, Mark Gordon,
Steve Smith, Ron Quesnelle, and Kevin Cornelius.

Rob Clarke won the OSCAAR Super Late Model feature, followed by Jeff Hanley
and Pete Shepherd.
Mark Burbridge won the Late Model Feature, followed by Kirk Hooker and
Jason Shaw.
Tom Walters won the Limited Late Model Feature, followed by Mark Gordon
and Jeff Walt.
Ken Weisbrod won the Thunder Car feature, and Nick Roth won the Mini Stock
Feature.
Brian Atkinson won the Canadian Vintage Modified Clash on Saturday, as well
as the Feature on Sunday. He was followed on Sunday by Doug Hood and
Jody Chubbs.

Barrie Speedway September 24,25
Unofficially, Dave Lewis won the Late Model feature on Saturday night. Robin Jongen was second, followed
by Tom Walters, John Gaunt, Ian Bourque, Kevin Reynolds, Tim Watson, Dwayne
Baker and Garry Reynolds.
Steve Navratil won the Legend feature, followed by Andy Warbutton, Bruce Grimes,
Bill Mason, Chad Windsor, Kevin Fletcher, Jason Tomlinson, Mike Thompson and
Rob Degeer.
On Sunday, Steve Lyons won the Canadian Vintage Modified Feature. Second place was taken by
Patrick Ruelens, followed by Ben Charbonneau, John Karley, Adrian Donkers,
Rick Warnes, Steve Trendell and Brian Atkinson.
Steve St Onge won the Thunder Car Feature, and Steve Slaughter Jr won the
Mini Stock Feature.
The Limited Late Model Feature was called due to rain, with Jeff Walt taking
the shortened event. John Gaunt was 2nd, Tom Walters 3rd and Tim Watson 4th.
The OSCAAR Super Late Model race was not run.

The Southern Ontario Sprints were at Brighton Speedway Saturday and Sunday
nights. Rick Wilson won on Saturday, and Glen Styres won Sunday.
John Mason won the 50 lap Canadian Modified/IMCA Challenge Series feature,
and
Steve Smith won the 30 lap Mini Stock feature.
Mike Dooley won the 50 lap Duel in the Dirt Pro Stock feature.

Ohsweken Pit Stop Challenge September 2
The Lucas Oil Pit Stop Challenge for Modified Sportsman was
held at Ohsweken Speedway Friday September 2.
The team of Dereck Lemyre (56) won the event.
Other teams competing were the crews of Nick Cupolo (99), Mark Dixon (11),
Lee Mallory (44), Bill Willard (77) and Doug Spiece (88).

The Auto Value Bumper-to-Bumper Super Sprints joined the Canadian
Vintage Modifieds, the Can-Am TQ Midgets, and the F4 modifieds
Sunday for the "Lucas Oil Fenderless Fury".
Tyler Underwood won the Sprint car 30 lap feature, followed by Curt Shumaker, Dorman Snyder, Tommy Fedewa, Cameron Dodson, Mike Ling and Jeff Bloom.
Todd Cresswell won the Can-Am Midget feature, followed by Jeff Riberdy, David
Balych, Craig Mackereth, James Friesen, Curtis Nichols and Paul Smith.
John Karley won the Canadian Vintage Modified feature. followed by Adrian Donkers, Steve Lyons, Chuck McKee, Jesse Pontello, Rick Warnes and Phil Shaw.

Flamboro Speedway August 27
The Auto Value Bumper-to-Bumper Super Sprints joined the Canadian
Vintage Modifieds, the Can-Am TQ Midgets, and the F4 modifieds
Saturday for the "Lucas Oil Fenderless Fury". Unfortunately
the weather forced the racing to be postponed until Sunday
afternoon (front gates 1pm, racing 3pm).

The Cascar Super Series and Powerwater Sportsman Series returned to Peterborough
Speedway Sunday.
Ron Beauchamp Jr won the 200 lap Super Series race, followed by
Kerry Micks, Dave Whitlock, DJ Kennington and Scott Steckly.
Shawn McGlynn won the 100 lap Sportsman race, followed by Mike Alguire, Brad Graham,
Kent Nuhn and Steve Munro.

The Cascar Super Series and Powerwater Sportsman Series visited Peterborough
Speedway Saturday for a double header. Unfortunately the 2 features were
postponed until Sunday afternoon due to rain. Andy Warbutton won the Legends

Todd Campbell won the Late Model feature, followed by Paul Howse, Terry King, Jim Sweers, Gary Elliott, Jeff Stewart and Greg Cox.
Phil Shaw won the Canadian Vintage Modified feature. 2nd was Steve Lyons, followed by Steve Trendell, Brian Atkinson and Ron Shaw.
Paul Mcllroy won the thunder car feature, followed by Rick Hay, Kevin Gallant, Jamie Cox and Randy Rusnell.

The Sunoco Sportsman Super Dirt Series feature was won
by Kyle Inman, followed by Russ Hefti,
and Wayne Conn Jr. (large car count - 36 sportsman).

by Ken Cosgrove and Pete Bicknell. Rob Goulding won the mini stock
feature, Tyler McPherson won the Stock feature, and Wayne Robins

and the CASCAR Power Water Sportsman Series ran a 100 lap feature.
Ron Lethbridge won the CASCAR Sportsman feature, followed by Brad Graham,
Dion Verhoeven and Michael Gold. Garry Reynolds won the Barrie Late Model
feature, followed by Kevin Reynolds, Ian Bourque, Dave Lewis and Tyler Hawn.

Flamboro Saturday June 25
Gary Elliott won the Late model Feature (his first after many CVM wins),
followed by David Elliott and Scott Lyons.
Samantha Jansen crossed the line first in the Canadian Vintage Modified
feature, but I believe Nic Wiersma won, since Samantha cut through the
infield during a racing incident. Ron Easton was second, and John Karley
was third.

The Canadian Vintage Modifieds and the Can-Am TQ midgets
visited Flamboro Saturday night.
Unofficially, Paul Smith won the Can-AM Midget feature, followed by Dan May and Jeff Riberty.
The Canadian Vintage Modifieds ran twin 25 features.
Ron Easton won the 1st feature, followed by Doug Hood and Rick Warnes,
and Ray Hughes won the 2nd feature, with Samantha Jansen and Phil Shaw in 2nd and 3rd.
The overall winner was a tie between Rick Warnes and Brian Atkinson.
Phil Shaw and Doug Hood tied for 3rd, and Samantha Jansen was 5th overall.
