Humberstone Speedway, Sunday October 24, 2021







Humberstone Speedway held the annual Eve Of Destruction event this afternoon, postponed from earlier due to weather. Rick Beales won the 100 lap Enduro and the 'Bone Shaker' Jet Truck did a 'burndown'. There was also a Youth Race, a Ladies Race, a Backwards Race (cars were in reverse), A Side by Side Race (2 cars chained together) A Blind Race (driver blindfolded, passenger guided), and A Flag Pole Race (each lap had an added loop around a 'flagpole'). The second day of Flamboro's Frostoberfest weekend, postponed from October 2, featured the 3rd round of the Grisdale Pro Late Model Triple Crown. JR Fitzpatrick won the Pro Late Model feature, followed by Andrew Gresel, Kyle Steckly, Rick Spencer-Walt and Connor James. Shae Gaemmell was the 3 race Grisdale Champion. John Cadman won the Super Late Model feature, Dario Capirchio was 2nd and Dustin Jackson 3rd. Lane Zardo won the Super Stock feature, followed by Roy Wilkie and Carson Nagy. James Houghton won the Bone Stock feature, followed with Jo Lawrence finishing second.

Peterborough Speedway, Sunday October 10, 2021







Peterborough Speedway's annual Autumn Colours Classic was held Friday through Sunday. The 167 lap Pro Late Model feature was won by Ryan Kimball. Connor James was 2nd and Danny Benedict was 3rd, after a close battle near the end between these 3 and JR Fitzpatrick. Andy Kamrath won the OSCAAR Modified feature, followed by JR Fitzpatrick and AJ Emms. TJ Edwards was the season champion. The OSCAAR Hot Rod feature was won by Jaeger McMaster, the Super Stock feature was won by Mark Gordon, the Legend feature was won by Matt Haufe, the Mini Stock feature was won by Eric Yorke, the Bone Stock feature was won by Steve Finnegan Jr, the Pro Sprint feature was won by James Stanley and the Outlaw Midget feature was won by Jessica James.

Peterborough Speedway's annual Autumn Colours Classic was held Friday through Sunday. Today featured practices and qualifying for Legends, OSCAAR Hot Rods and Modifieds, Super Stocks, Pro Sprints, and Bone Stocks. The Pro Late Models and Outlaw Midgets also practiced. The Legend Non Winner's race was won by Shane Pollock. Brock Baker won the Mini Stock Young Guns feature and Carson Nagy won the Super Stock Young Guns feature. OSCAAR Modified heat winners were Dale Reinhardt, AJ Emms, Andy Kamrath and Jeff Walt. OSCAAR Hot Rod heat winners were Amanda Balson, Jeremy McLean, Tyler Hawn, Steve Book and Dave Waite.

The first day of the Frostoberfest weekend took place today, although the second day was postponed due to weather to October 16. Andy Kamrath won the OSCAAR Modified feature, followed by TJ Edwards, Dale Reinhardt, Jason Keen, Ryan Dick and Jake Watson. The OSCAAR Hot Rod feature was won by Dalen Martin, with Nick Clarke in 2nd, Tyler Hawn 3rd, Steve Book 4th and Trevor Thompson 5th. Hudson Nagy won the Legends feature, followed by Jeff Forsey and Parker Traves. Karl Sault won the Mini Stock feature, followed by Shawn Taylor and Cole Quinton. James Stanley won both Ontario Pro Sprint features, Austin Arnel won the Mini Truck feature and Will Quarrie won the Jr Late Model feature.

LP Dumoulin took over the points lead tonight, and won the Pinty's Series Championship. DJ Kennington won the NASCAR Pinty's Series Qwick Wick 125, followed by Brandon Watson, Andrew Ranger, Alex Guenette, Treyten Lapcevich and LP Dumoulin. Andrew Ranger won the NASCAR Pinty's Series Fall Brawl 150, with Kevin Lacroix in 2nd, Pete Shepherd III 3rd, Brandon Watson 4th, DJ Kennington 5th and LP Dumoulin 6th. Dylan Sharpe won the King of the Hill match.

Canadian Tire Motorsport Park held 3 days of practice, qualifying and a triple header points race for the Canadian Pro Superbike Championship. There were also Pro Sport Bikes, Amateur Sport Bikes, Amateur Superbikes and Amateur Lightweight Sport Bikes. Today i shot practices and a race for the Liqui Moly Pro Sport Bikes. servers, and it had to be replaced, which put me behind.

Also, i was away from the computers at races for 7 out of 10 days last week,

Andy Kamrath won the OSCAAR Modified feature, with TJ Edwards in 2nd and Kelly Balson in 3rd. Kyle Fetterly won the OSCAAR Hot Rods feature, followed by Tyler Hawn and Jesse Kennedy. Nic Ramsay won the Bone Stock feature, with Phil Givens in 2nd and Gary Slama in 3rd.

Flamboro Speedway, Saturday August 7, 2021





Kyle Steckly won the 100 lap Grisdale Pro Late Model feature, followed by Shae Gemmell and Shawn Chenoweth. Tim Norris won both Pro Challenge features, and Mike Norris was 2nd in both. Karl Sault won the first Mini Stock feature, followed by Gillian Hils and Dylan Sharpe. Shawn Taylor won the second Mini Stock feature, followed by Gillian Hils and Karl Sault. Kris Lawrence won the first Pure Stock feature, with Kyle Lucas in 2nd and Phil Givens in 3rd. Rodney Rutherford won the second Pure Stock feature, followed by Scott Tonelli and Kris Lawrence.

Merrittville Speedway, Friday August 6, 2021





Merrittville held a Friday night show, featuring Sprint Cars. Jordan Poirier won the 360 Knights of Thunder feature, followed by Aaron Turkey, Ryan Turner, Liam Martin and Jamie Turner. Nick Sheridan won the Action Sprint Tour feature. Jacob Dykstra was 2nd, Eric Gledhill 3rd, Jesse Costa 4th and Lucas Smith 5th. Dave Bailey won the Hoosier Stock feature, with Rob Murray in 2nd and Mark Fawcett in 3rd. Kenny Hair won the Mini Stock feature, followed by Braden Keus and Kyle Rothwell.

Mat Williamson won the Modified feature, followed by Tyler Willard, Gary Lindberg, Tim Jones and Chad Chevalier. Cody McPherson won the Sportsman feature, with Brad Rouse in 2nd and James Friesen in 3rd. Rob Murray won the Hoosier Stock feature, followed by Dave Bailey and Jason Fontaine. Austin Werstroh finished first in the Mini Stock feature, but Dylan Llord took the checkered flag. Trevor DeBoer finished behind Dylan.

The NASCAR PINTY's Series ran two 125 lap races this evening. Raphael Lessard won the first, followed by Andrew Ranger, Alex Tagliani, Kevin Lacroix and Shae Gemmell. Raphael Lessard also won the second race. DJ Kennington was 2nd, LP Dumoulin was 3rd, Treyten Lapcevich 4th and Brett Taylor 5th. Lane Zardo won the Super Stock feature held in the afternoon.

Jordan Poirier won the Knights of Thunder 360 Sprint feature, followed by Jim Huppunen, Cory Turner, Ryan Turner and Aaron Turkey. Kyle Steckly won both Pro Late Model features (his 1st and 2nd career PLM wins). Kevin Albers and Chris Howse followed him in the first, and Rick Burbridge and Kevin Albers followed him in the second. Quinton Murdoch won the 1st Candadian Vintage Modified feature followed by Jerrid Morphy and TJ Marshall. Mike Podd won the 2nd CVM feature, with Rick Willigar in 2nd and Jerrid Morphy in 3rd. Justin Collison won both Super Stock features, with Carson Nagy in 2nd. Dylan Sharp won both Mini Stock features, followed by Gillian Hils. Jordan Morris and Matt Langford were the top finishers in the 1st Pure Stock feature. Jordan Morris and Phil Givens led the 2nd Pure Stock feature. Brandon Watson won the rain delayed APC 100 lap race, followed by Pete Shepherd III, Treyten Lapcevich, Jordan Sims and Jo Lawrence. Daniel Hawn won the Can-Am Midget feature, with Brody Rickwood in 2nd and Adam Racine in 3rd. Dylan Sharp won both Mini Stock features. In the first race, Will Gibbons was 2nd and Jeff Laflamme was 3rd. In the second race, Shawn Taylor was 2nd and Will Gibbons was 3rd. Flamboro Speedway opened up the grandstands tonight, with 25 per cent capacity allowed to attend. Mike Podd and Jeremy Riopelle won Canadian Vintage Modified features, Tim Norris and Mike Norris won Pro Challenge features, Will Gibbons won both Mini Stock features, Dan Pettit won both Pro 4 Modified features and Phil Givens and Kris Laurence won Pure Stock features. Canadian Tire Mo'sport Park, Sunday June 20, 2021







The 2021 Vintage Grand Prix was held Thursday June 17 through Sunday June 20. I attended on Saturday and Sunday. FEL Motosports was also on hand this weekend, with FEL Cup Canada and FEL Sports Car Championship Canada. Flamboro Speedway Saturday June 19, 2021






Flamboro's first race of the season saw Treyten Lapcevich take the 100 lap Grisdale Pro Late Model feature, followed by Shawn Chenoweth, Shae Gemmel, Connor James and Kevin Albers. TJ Marshall won the Canadian Vintage Modified feature, with Mike Podd in 2nd and Jerrid Morphy in 3rd. Gerrit Tiemersma won the Super Stock feature, followed by Ryden Lapcevich and Brad Collison. Will Gibbons won the Mini Stock feature and Gary Slama won the Pure Stock feature. I arrived at the track after shooting at CTMP earlier in the day (missed the Pure Stock practice). Qualifying was rained out due to rain this afternoon.

The 2021 Vintage Grand Prix was held Thursday June 17 through Sunday June 20. I attended on Saturday and Sunday.
