racepulse.com Tony Stewart in ISMA at Cayuga

On the Saturday evening before the first Canada Day Shootout at Cayuga Speedway there was a special race for the ISMA supermodifieds and the Canadian Vintage Modifieds.

The Sunday Cascar race featured NASCAR stars Tony Stewart, Matt Kenseth, Sterling Marlin, and Ken Shrader. Tony Stewart arrived early and took part in the ISMA show. He drove one of the 3 cars that Brad Lichty had on hand that day (he was in the 84, Dave McKnight was in the 94, and Lichty moved into the 74).

Here are 47 pitside photos taken before the race relating to Tony Stewart. I will be adding the remaining ISMA pictures, as well as the Canadian Vintage Modified photos, soon.

It's been said that Tony Stewart is reluctant to sign
autographs in the pits before a race.
Lou Ciconni Sr, father of supermodified star Lou Ciconni Jr,
found that not to be the case.
(catch the expression on Liquid Lou's face
in the second last shot).

Here are a few more shots featuring Tony Stewart.

These next photos show Stewart in the 84
waiting to be pushed off for practice before the race.

While Stewart was receiving all of the attention, owner Brad
Lichty and team mate Dave McKnight had their cars to themselves.
