Sarver, PA — Feb. 1, 2006 — By Donny Roenigk

The green flag is ready to wave on the 2006 racing season at Don Martin’s
Lernerville Speedway.

The tradition that has made Lernerville one of the most popular dirt racing
facilities in the world continues as the only track in the country running three
headline divisions — Sprints, Late Models and V-8 Modifieds — on a weekly basis. In
addition, the highly competitive and popular Pure Stock class will be back as the
Fab Four Friday nights once again kick off at 7:30 p.m.

Local businessmen and long-time Lernerville supporters and racers, Gary Risch Sr.
and Gary Risch Jr., will serve as Assistant Managers at the track under DIRT
NorthEast General Manager Tonya Moschell, with Jean Lynch lending her respected
expertise as an advisor. In addition, Publicity Director Carol Gamble and Race
Operations Manager Ouch Roenigk will be joined by Office Manager Linda Fennell to
keep Lernerville a first-class facility for fans, racers, media and marketing
partners.

“I’m looking forward to helping continue the reputation we’ve established at
Lernerville the past 38 years,” Roenigk said.

Gamble has become a favorite of the media who cover Lernerville every week because
of her ability to find nearly any statistic on any driver who has raced there, as
well as her knack for coming up with titles for events and driver nicknames.

“Lernerville is one of the most competitive tracks in the country with exciting
wheel-to-wheel racing,” said Gamble, who has worked at Lernerville since the
mid-1970s. “I am happy to continue my efforts to be a part of the excellent
traditions that have been set.”

For the staff of DIRT MotorSports’ NorthEast office in Weedsport, N.Y., continuing
the history and tradition of Lernerville was extremely important.

“I’m so excited to have Carol and Ouch back at Lernerville,” Moschell said. “I have
so much respect for what they do and how much of their lives they’ve dedicated to
making Lernerville a premier facility for everybody involved. By having them join
Senior and Junior, and bringing Linda on board, too, I know the Fab Four racing and
the special events will be in extremely capable hands, and that the real winners
will be the fans.”

Plans have been completed for an Open House from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on March 4 at the
track. During this event, DIRT MotorSports will distribute the 2005 point-fund
checks to the top 10 drivers in each division.

The 2006 schedule will be released in the coming days. Plans are to launch the 39th
season at “The Action Track” on March 31. The Annual Car Show to help kick off the
season will be March 16-18 at Clearview Mall in Butler.

Fans can count on Lernerville to be Western Pennsylvania’s only venue for the World
of Outlaws Sprint Series with the Commonwealth Clash on May 19 in addition to the
prestigious Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup on July 18, one of the early stops in the
Month of Money. The highly competitive World of Outlaws Late Model Series — with
2006 Chili Bowl champion Tim McCreadie — will return to the Sarver oval for events
on April 7 and Aug. 4. DIRT MotorSports also will bring to Lernerville the Advance
Auto Parts Modified Super DIRT Series stars for an event on June 4.

In addition, Lernerville is pleased to announce the USAC Wingless Sprints will
invade for a special show on May 5, the popular MACS Late Models and All Star
Circuit of Champions Earl & David Bauman Memorial gets the green on June 23, and the
Modified Tour ’06 has shows on May 5 and July 14.

The Lernerville Family welcomes back supportive division sponsors St. Barnabas
Health Systems Sprints, Friedman’s Supermarkets Bi/Lo Foods Late Models, Ferrante
Motor Cars Modifieds, and the Advance Auto Parts Pure Stocks.

We are now taking orders for reserved seat tickets for all shows, and encourage fans
who were regular reserved seat ticket holders to confirm their orders for upcoming
specials by calling the speedway office at 724-353-1511. Updated Rules and
Procedures are now available, as well.

Kids and parents will be excited to know that the National City Kid’s Club will
again offer fans 12-and-under theme and driver activities throughout the season.

Businesses wishing to become involved in some of the many marketing opportunities
available at the speedway are encouraged to contact the office for more information.

So it’s clear the schedule will be packed with exciting racing on the track and
plenty of activities off of it. The entire Lernerville Speedway Family thanks all
the fans for their support through the years and encourages everybody to race on
Friday nights to Don Martin’s Lernerville Speedway … “Where the Weekend Starts!”
