August 19, 2007. John Ryan (J.R.) Fitzpatrick and the Milwaukee Electric
Tools Chevrolet team have shown their speed throughout the NASCAR Canadian
Tire Series season on tracks from coast to coast. For round eight on the
final street circuit of the season they were fast out of the gate again.

The Fitzpatrick Motorsports team has done a tremendous job preparing the
Milwaukee Electric Tools Chevy for each event and during the opening
practice session at Trois Rivieres J.R. posted an outstanding time, but also
had difficulties. Fitzpatrick would have a hard hit against the concrete
wall and do significant damage to the Milwaukee Electric Tools Chevy. "I
made a mistake" said Fitzpatrick, it's really tight on this track and I got
a little too aggressive".

The Milwaukee Electric Tools team was forced to spend many hours making
repairs to the car and hopefully give Fitzpatrick a car capable of being up
front. The team did not disappoint as J.R. would post a time of 1:08:573,
good enough for his third consecutive Bud Pole Award. "The car was almost
uncontrollably fast" said the 19 year old sensation. "I really can't say
enough about how well Ted McAllister and the guys have prepared the car this
year"

Once again Fitzpatrick and the Milwaukee Electric Tools Chevy would lead the
field to green, J.R. using the same strategy of hoping to lead a lap early
and then save the car for the end of the race. Fitzpatrick would settle in
and battle with the top five runners not taxing his equipment but for the
second straight race a hit from behind would change his fortunes. "It's
really frustrating, you work so hard to have the Milwaukee Electric Tools
Chevy in front of the trouble and it hits us from behind".

Following the contact from behind, Fitzpatrick would spin and lose several
positions falling out of the top-ten. From there I just put my head down
and tried to recover as best we could" said the driver. "Coming up with a
sixth place finish isn't horrible, but it's disappointing when you know you
had a better car than guys that finished in front of you" he concluded.

After eight events J.R. Fitzpatrick and the Milwaukee Electric Tools team
now sit third in the overall point standings.

J.R Fitzpatrick and the Milwaukee Electric Tools team are back in action
this coming weekend to compete on the final road course event of the year at
the Grand Prix of Trois Rivieres. More information on the series can be
