Humberstone's opening night featured the BEI Lightning Sportsman Series. Chad Chevalier won the 40 lap Sportsman feature, Chad Homan won the Late Model feature, Dave Bailey won the Street Stock feature, Leroy Buscumb won the Mini Stock feature and Dylan Lord won the Truck feature.
